History of Themedicalhelp.com (TMH)

Founded in August 2007 The creation concept of Themedicalhelp was deeply personal  to its founder Mustafa Asif.

About The Founder. (Mustafa's story)

I have  diseases Sensory-motor polyneuropathy (hereditary) caused many complications since childhood, a non healing wound on right foot toe last many years and caused Amyloidosis secondary to chronic osteomylitis damged kidneys in 1997 (got amputated right leg below knee ),at that time don't even know  single thing about diseases i was having due to insufficient knowledge could not care myelf proper and in 2005 diagnosed with ESRD (End stage renal disease) and went on dialysis, during dialysis i have realized that to educate myself about my diseases and procedures i was going through. i have started searching net to educte myself.

Spending almost two years on dialysis i recieved my kidney transplant from unlerated living donor. Still i didn't know what complications can occure post transplant and one can live life healthy after transplant with lot of anti rejection drugs.

in August 2007 when i was completely frustrated and depressed from hectic life with anti rejection drugs and post transplant complications i was unable to work indeed and as i always dreamed to help people in need but i was not able to go out and help them physically  i thought to use my professional skills (software professional) to build a plateform / community for those in need and dies helplessly because they don't have resources to find proper knowledge nor counselling from busy doctors.

I discussed my idea with my net friend Adeel Ejaz (we never met yet) living in UK, he appreciated and at the same day arranged hosting and domain Volunteerjiggz then renamed it Themedicalhelp.com.

28 Augst 2007 Themedicalhelp lauched with the efforts of me and Adeel.

My aim was providing up-to-date knowledge to those suffering in life threatening diseases, kidney failure, transplant patients.

We start with discussion forum where patients can share their experience with each other and ask about their conditions to some qualified doctors joined us to provide help them.
